Just a little summary of the year 2008

Personal: In 2008 I…

• spent the year in magic Melbourne, Australia
• put 4 new contries to my "been there"-list; Thailand, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
• travelled a lot in Australia; Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Cairns and Byron Bay
• added 47 dives to my divelog, and advanced to PADI AOW i january
• learned a lot about underwater photography which I started doing this year
• got to dive with minke whales and sharks
• got to know lots of cool people form all over the world
• learned how to surf
• started using Twitter
• to cuddle with tigers in the Tiger Temple outside of Bangkok
• got to see Dizzee Rascal live on Parklife festival
• bought a 10-17mm fishey for my camera
• started skating longboard
• learned a lot about Norway that I didn't know
• started listening to -60ies surf music (the Bambi Molesters)
• posted in avarage 2,4 photos every day to my Flickr stream

  • Artists in Residence
• won a Silverlight contest prior to Remix
• got to network with lots of smart people on events in Australia
• worked on a big project in Melbourne, Logic100
• founded a little one person company called Nifty Designs
• started using Graffiti CMS, and offer it to my customers
• joined LinkedIn
• learned to like MS Expression Blend
• upgraded my Macbook pro with 2Gb Ram
• started using a wacom tablet as an everyday mouse replacement

Overall it was a fantastic year! How was yours?
